Gazprom peptide research.
A documented research trail with unresolved intervention details and clinical efficacy.
What can the sources establish?
The congress citation, programme narrative and dissertation are different documents. They should not be counted as three independent trials. The strongest next step is obtaining the complete protocol and dissertation, with preparation identities, comparison groups and outcome-specific denominators.
Which peptides were involved?
The dissertation excerpts name Thymalin, Epithalamin and Cortexin in sequential treatment for dyscirculatory encephalopathy. That does not establish what every programme participant received. These tissue-derived preparations are distinct from synthetic Vilon, Epitalon, Pinealon and Vesugen.
Reported outcomes need their original tables
The reproduced narrative reports HDL +35%, VLDL -53% and LDL -30%; ultrasound improvement in thyroid, prostate and liver subgroups is reported as 61%, 41% and 35%. Follow-up imaging is described at approximately four, eight and twelve months. These findings require subgroup denominators, baseline data and control comparisons. Imaging changes do not independently demonstrate tissue regeneration.

Core source records
Program of Age-Related Pathology Prevention and Professional Longevity Extension among Gazprom Personnel
· Conference citation in author bibliography
R. I. Vyakhirev, N. N. Gouslisty, S. V. Okhotnikov, V. Kh. Khavinson · 17th World Congress of the International Association of Gerontology; Gerontology 47(Suppl. 1):453-454
The author bibliography lists a Vancouver congress abstract in Gerontology 47, Supplement 1, pages 453-454. This confirms a publication trail, not clinical efficacy.
- Population / setting
- Gazprom personnel; abstract-level participant details unavailable
- What was checked
- Author bibliography checked; abstract text not obtained.
Limitations & review scope
- Conference abstract and original protocol not recovered.
- A bibliographic listing does not verify intervention identity, allocation or outcomes.
Source checked 2026-10-02. This is a source-linked record, not a completed evidence review.
Программа продления активного профессионального долголетия работников ОАО «Газпром» — Programme for extending active professional longevity of Gazprom employees
Individualized bioregulating interventions; exact formulations unresolved · Programme report / commercial reproduction
· Programme narrative reproduced by Vitual; publication date unconfirmed
The reproduced report describes 11,192 employees reached during March-November 2000. It claims 2.3-fold lower overall morbidity and 2.7-fold lower seasonal infectious morbidity. These are report-level claims, not independently established treatment effects.
- Population / setting
- Gazprom occupational programme; analyzed subgroups and denominators unresolved
- What was checked
- Accessible Russian narrative checked. Image-based tables and original programme documentation require independent appraisal.
Limitations & review scope
- Commercial reproduction; original signed report and underlying data not obtained.
- Outcome-specific denominators, allocation, confounding, adverse events and exact formulations need verification.
- Programme reach is not the number contributing to every outcome; no modern synthetic peptide inherits these results.
Source checked 2026-10-02. This is a source-linked record, not a completed evidence review.
Эффективность применения пептидных биорегуляторов у лиц разного возраста в условиях Крайнего Севера — Effectiveness of peptide bioregulators in people of different ages under Far North conditions
Thymalin, Epithalamin and Cortexin tissue-derived preparations · Dissertation record and indexed excerpts
Vladimir Alekseevich Cherkashin · Candidate of Medical Sciences dissertation, St. Petersburg, 2003; 203 pages
The dissertation trail links examinations of Gazprom employees and family members to the programme approved in February 2000. Indexed recommendations name sequential Thymalin, Epithalamin and Cortexin for a disease-specific setting; they do not establish a universal occupational regimen.
- Population / setting
- Far North clinical research associated with Gazprom employees and families; exact cohort allocation unresolved
- What was checked
- Bibliographic metadata and search-indexed dissertation excerpts checked; host retrieval failed and original thesis remains an acquisition target.
Limitations & review scope
- Full 203-page dissertation has not been obtained.
- Search-indexed excerpts are not a substitute for original methods and tables.
- Named sequential therapy for dyscirculatory encephalopathy does not identify treatment for every Gazprom employee.
- Overlap with the broader programme and other clinical cohorts remains unresolved.

Dissertation and bibliography priorities
Cherkashin: complete dissertation · 2002 thymus/pineal monograph · 2001 aging monograph lead
Priority sections are participant selection, treatment identity, allocation, adverse events, original outcome tables and the bibliography. A commercial acquisition listing is not a verified PDF download.
Northern occupational physiology
Krivoshonov and Okhotnikov (2000), Production Migration and Human Health in the North. Recover the original book and confirm its bibliographic details.
Cerebral circulation
Krivoshapkin (1993) cerebral-ischemia work and the Epithalamin/Cortexin traumatic-brain-injury dissertation are related acquisition leads, not Gazprom trial results.
Experimental toxicity
The 2004 Lebnikova/Zhamsaranova 2,4-D herbicide paper requires primary-paper retrieval. It cannot establish benzene or hydrogen-sulfide protection.
Cold-stress research
Arokina and colleagues (2022), vascular polypeptide complex in rats: verify the original paper and formulation. Do not transfer extract outcomes to Vesugen.
Modern Arctic occupational health
The Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg cardiovascular-risk dissertation concerns occupational risk; it is not automatically a peptide intervention study.
Cohort overlap
Compare the dissertation, conference abstract, programme narrative and long-term gerontology publications. Shared authors or similar treatments neither prove independence nor prove shared participants.
Reporting discrepancies
Secondary accounts describe different sample totals, controls, durations and preparations. Original protocols and independent corroboration are needed before reconciling these versions or publishing mortality claims.
