S. V. Yureneva, T. Yu. Ivanets, E. I. Ermakova, V. G. Averkova · 2020 · Russian Bulletin of Obstetrician-Gynecologist. 20(2):86–94.
Study findings
Both groups improved with menopausal hormone therapy. The adjunctive Pineamin group reported faster and greater symptom improvement and larger reductions in circulating kisspeptin and neurokinin B.
- Population and setting
- 40 women with severe menopausal symptoms; 12-week comparison
- Evidence type
- Randomized trial
- Preparation
- See the original report; formulation details require verification.
- Source language
- Russian
- Title source
- Title as recorded in the linked source or index. A separate original-language title has not been transcribed unless shown above.
Study limitations
- Open design and small sample; subjective symptoms are vulnerable to expectation effects.
- Blood biomarkers do not demonstrate the proposed hypothalamic mechanism directly. The comparison does not establish Pineamin monotherapy efficacy.
Publication counts are not counts of independent trials. Reviews, translations and reports sharing participants may overlap. Findings apply to the studied preparation, population and endpoints.
