Study findings
At 4.5 hours after arterial occlusion, Selank was associated with 118 differentially expressed genes; 99 were downregulated. Several ischemia-associated immune-expression changes were partly reversed.
- Population and setting
- Three groups of five rats; RNA sequencing used three animals per group
- Evidence type
- Animal / experimental
- Source language
- English
- Title source
- Title as recorded in the linked source or index. A separate original-language title has not been transcribed unless shown above.
Study limitations
- Early molecular endpoints do not establish functional recovery or human stroke benefit.
- Small RNA-sequencing groups; related program datasets must be checked before treating reports as independent replication.
Publication counts are not counts of independent trials. Reviews, translations and reports sharing participants may overlap. Findings apply to the studied preparation, population and endpoints.
