What does this source report?

The 2005–2006 report describes digestive-enzyme trends and glucose outcomes. The two-hour glucose comparison is marked significant against controls; fasting changes are marked against baseline.

Population and setting
59 patients: pancreatitis 12 treated/8 controls; type-2 diabetes 22 treated/17 controls.
Evidence type
Human comparative study
Preparation
Tissue-derived mixture / named preparation
Source language
Russian
Title provenance
Title as recorded in the linked source or index. A separate original-language title has not been transcribed unless shown above.

What are the limitations?

  • Random allocation is asserted for the pancreatitis comparison without a method. Changing glucose-lowering co-treatment complicates attribution. This is not evidence for stopping diabetes medication.
  • Commercially reproduced institute report; independent peer review and independent replication are not established by this document.
  • Short-term reporting without a complete adverse-event protocol cannot establish long-term safety. Preparation equivalence to current products or synthetic peptides is unproven.

Publication counts are not counts of independent trials. Reviews, translations and reports sharing participants may overlap. Findings apply to the studied preparation, population and endpoints.
